What happens when someone like myself that specializes in photo-manipulation barrows a random Black /White art sketch and only recently learns how to use motion graphic software such as Adobe After Effects? Pretty much this whole video.
So this project took me quite a while. And it all started because of a little beauty sketch that just triggered everything in my imagination. I asked the original artist about his sketch into allowing me to barrow it for a while to do a little tinkering with it. My first goal was to only manipulate the sketch to something different but then as I progressed, the sketch itself became more alive. And that's when I decided to do a little research in animation. Turns out that Adobe After Effects, a motion graphic software is friendly with Photoshop. In addition after doing lots of reading I've come to the conclusion that After Effects is Photoshop but for videos. Which is COOL because I know how to use Photoshop very well so it shouldn't be that hard, right? Guess what, it is true, but there are A LOT of learning curves. It holds some truth if you know the basic fundamentals but there are a LOT more to this amazing motion graphic software.
I am extremely happy with how this turned out. I know what you're all thinking "This looks it's legit and part of a video game!" Yup, I know lol! If I was working with a team of video game developers, I might do something like this or more. :>
Although I do apologize for people who are viewing this project on their mobile phones. It's meant to be viewed on either a tablet iPad, notebook or regular monitor. This is because the original painting was composed from start to finish in portrait mode rather than the regular landscape widescreen 16:9 mode. If you love my work please share it and you're more than welcome to contact either me or the original sketch artist for Rebirth himself Rum-locker AKA known as @RumzRumz. on Twitter or Draw Crowd as Heimdallgazo and PockyRumz over on Furaffinity. Links are below.
I might also consider doing a tutorial for this over at my YouTube channel. Be sure to check it out if you haven't yet over HERE --> DarkWolf80s YouTube Channel Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

This is pretty cool Yousef! And the first thing I was going to say was, ""This looks it's legit and part of a video game!"" hahahha The background itself for the game is very nice, definitely a mystical forest type of feel, which really goes good with the character. As for the character motion and everything, I think it looks pretty nice and smooth, and I love that you even accounted for the shadow underneath. I am unfamiliar with the programs used and animation in general, so I cannot give you any solid crits. The only thing I can say is that it would be neat to see more things like this - maybe you can go into video game graphics at some point!
